Silver "Ells"
We went to Colin's work party and Elliott had a great time. She smiled at everyone, danced to the music, and "chatted" the whole night. She even got her picture taken with Santa!
We are especially excited over the greatest news of all, Elliott is going to have TWO NEW COUSINS this Spring!!! Corey and Heidi are expecting their 3rd baby and Devin and Emily are expecting their 1st!
Happy Holidays to everyone and we can't wait to see you all in Salt Lake City for Christmas!

Sitting Up
Look, no hands! Elliott can sit up on her own now. She rolls around everywhere and has started exploring our apartment (time to start baby proofing!) She smiles at everyone and is so easy going and happy. She'll be 6 months old on November 17th! 1/2 a year already, it's crazy.
Colin dove head first (or was thrown) right into his career as an Attorney and he has been working his head off. We decided to reward him for all his hard work with a 57" HD TV. He's in heaven, and he says Elliott will enjoy "Yo Gabba Gabba" more in high def.

Daddy passed the Bar! YAY!
Colin was sworn-in yesterday and he is officially an Attorney! He's worked so hard and we are so proud of him. Even with all the hard work and stress, he has been very upbeat and having a lot of fun with Elliott. She is very lucky to have such a great Dad.
Elliott is 5 months old now! She can stand and sit up (with a little help) and she's getting stronger everyday. She is so happy and easy going. And she loves people, especially kids. I try to take her to the park at least a few times a week to let her watch the kids play. She likes the baby swings, too. In fact, I tried to take her out of the swing today and she started crying! She's learning how to protest now.
I (Mommy) took a part time job at the Gap during the holiday season. I thought it would be fun to get out and earn a little extra Christmas money. But it's mainly to load up on Baby Gap clothes for Ellie. :-)

We took Ellie to her first football game and we made it to the end of the 3rd quarter. Believe it or not, we ended up leaving because it was too cold! I guess fall has finally reached Vegas.

Ellie went to the doctor today! She is now 12 lbs, 6 oz and 22 1/2 inches long. She's in the 73% for size and 90% for HEAD SIZE! (I'm sure my brothers will appreciate that - I know, I know, she takes after her Mom. Colin says she just has a big brain.) Anyway, she is very healthy and doing great. She got a shot in each leg and screamed for each shot, but she was fine the minute I picked her up. Poor little thing.
